Girls’ Night In

Mike was out of town on Sunday night, so Michaela and I enjoyed a girls’ night in. We ordered pizza from a local joint before she took a quick bath. I put a special hair mask on her hair and then got her cozy so I could paint her toenails the deep purple color she picked out. I made hot chocolate with marshmallows and we watched a movie. When it was time for bed, she had a little bit of a hard time falling asleep, so I put on the guaranteed-to-work James Taylor. Half a song in, Michaela was out like a light.

I don’t have any pictures because I was busy enjoying it. It was a lovely night, just us girls.
