My Baby

For the last several months, Michaela has been OBSESSED with babies.  She talked so much about babies at daycare, that they thought I was pregnant (I’m not).  Michaela has announced that she’s going to have a baby– to be named Cindy Bob– in December.  Every time we go to Target, she wants to stop in the baby section so she can buy things she needs for Cindy Bob.  I’ve been putting her off by telling her that we have until December to buy those things, since that’s when the baby is coming.  For the last week or so, Michaela has also kicked it up a notch by now wanting us to treat her like she is a baby.  That is, when she’s not insisting she’s a BIG GIRL.  So sometimes, she wants to do everything herself.  Other times, she’s asking me to change her diaper and give her a drink from a bottle.  What a nut!
