Cruise Pix: The Rest

7 Nov

As the cruise went on, I took fewer and fewer pictures.  Here are a few more from the last days of our trip.

Our last port was Cabo San Lucas, and while I can’t say anything about the city (I stayed on the boat and went to the spa instead.  My massage, facial, and lounging was awesome), I can say that the weather was perfect.  It was a truly gorgeous day.

A view of El Arco (The Arch), which is the southernmost point of the California peninsula, from our balcony.

My brother is a HUGE Lakers fan, and Mike scoured all the shops we visited in Mexico for a Lakers poncho.  There were lots of football team ponchos, and even some hockey teams, but for a while, it didn’t look like Mike would be able to find a Lakers one.  Until Cabo, that is!

Our room’s bathtub was perfectly sized for Michaela, who got a couple of baths from Nana Laura during our trip.

Our last night on the ship, Nana and Papa went to a romantic dinner, just the two of them.  Don’t they look lovely?

Enjoying our last breakfast in The Lido (the ship’s buffet).

Before we got off the ship, we went up to the Crow’s Nest to play a final game of backgammon.  Michaela entertained herself by crawling around, which entertained the handful of other passengers who were also in the lounge.  Lots of “oohs and aahs” over how cute she is.

The cruise ship terminal in San Diego is a hop, skip, and a jump from The Berkeley, where Mike and I got married two years ago.  Of course I had to take a picture of The Berkeley (the white boat in the middle of this picture) from the Oosterdam.

And that’s our vacation in a nutshell!
