Michaela turned three years old last week.  Three!  How is that possible?

At three years old, she’s 39 1/4 inches tall.  She weighs 40 pounds.  She knows a gajillion words and has a wicked sense of humor.  She LOVES the color purple.  If you’re out with her and she sees it, she will stop in her tracks and yell, “I see purple!!!”  She says her favorite food is grapes, but she also loves pancakes.

Michaela is sitting next to me and I just asked her about her favorite food.  After she said grapes, she asked me why we bought green grapes and not purple ones.  See?  She’s serious about purple!

That inspired me to do an interview with her:

What is your favorite toy?  “I think my favorite toys are balls.”

Where is your favorite place to go?  “To McDonald’s.”  (Which is funny, because we never go there.)

Which is your favorite museum?  “The Children’s Museum.”

What do you like to do there?  “Paint on the car and the dog house and wheels and chalk.  You’re allowed to paint on the dog house and the wheels and the car.”

What is your favorite thing to watch on tv?  “Toy Story!”

What is your favorite book to read?  “Curious George Goes to the Hospital.”

How does it feel to be three years old?  “Good.”

What do you want to be when you grow up?  “A crocodile or a hippopotamus.”

And that, my friends, is Michaela at three.
