Mike and Music

It’s just after 10 on Thursday night.  Tomorrow we leave for Seattle, and Saturday our ship sails off into the wild blue yonder.  Woo hoo!  The last few days have been really long, really tough at work, so this vacation is coming at the perfect time.  Mike is currently busy packing, and I’m digitizing music– gotta have the iPod as up-to-date as possible, especially with several hours of airport waiting and flying ahead of me.

Had my first class of the semester yesterday; I think it will be really interesting.  Something like History, Politics and Society of the Baja Peninsula.  La profesora seems very nice, certainly an expert in her field.  It’s a small class, and designed in such a way that each student can focus on the topics that most interest us.  Between that and the independent study, not to mention working!, I should be pretty busy for the next 15 weeks.

Enough rambling (although, isn’t that the point of a blog?)– we’ll update with pictures upon our return.  Bon voyage to us!
